Altar Guild Servants Needed

Love INC is in need of volunteers to help in the office. The mission of Love In the Name of Christ is to transform lives and communities by offering financial help to those in need. Help is needed on Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. The office is located at First Christian Church on Main Street Extension in Meadville. If you can spare a few hours a week, please contact Betty Shaffer at 814-398-4944.

Church Carpooling Needed

We occasionally are in need of a car and driver to pick up individuals who would

like to attend Worship at Trinity UMC, but have no transportation.

If you would like to become part of this important ministry, please

notify the church office at 814-382-1121.

There is a need for volunteers to drive shut-ins to their scheduled doctor’s visits. If you can help, please call the church office at 382-1121.

Please help our church welcome visitors at the "Welcome Center."

We need 13 persons for each service to serve four (4) times per year.

You may volunteer for more than four Sundays, but a list of dates is

found in the narthex on the door next to the water cooler.

Place your name next to the dates you are willing to serve.

We are in need for greeters for our 11:00 service and power point presenters (yes, you can do it) for both services. If you are interested in being in the rotation, please call the church office

at 382-1121.

Nursery Nannies

In response to a need, we are attempting to compile a list of people who would be willing to serve as a nursery attendant during worship service if needed.

All attendants (both men & women) must have an Act 34 clearance to be considered. The church has the paperwork and will pay for that expense. Act 34 clearance is obtained after a background check is made. Because of this requirement, attendants must be at least 18 years of age.

Basically, you would just provide care (supervision) for children under 5 in the nursery when the family requests it.

It is a real ministry to the young parents who would like to be able to focus on worship without worrying about their children for an hour.
